Do I need to tap into my home's water line or hire a plumber?

No plumbing is required. The Forge of Creation is fully self-contained. You simply fill the base reservoir with standard tap water, and the submersible variable-speed pump handles the circulation.

Will running the lights and pump spike my electric bill?

No. The system runs on two standard 120V wall outlets and uses professional-grade, high-efficiency full-spectrum LED grow lights (1500 lumens). Even running the automated light cycle for 12 to 16 hours a day, the electrical draw is minimal.

In favorable conditions a full reservoir can last up to about four weeks—don't rely on that for routine care. If the water ever drops too low while you are away, the pump features an automatic low-water shut-off to protect the hardware from burning out.

But if something goes wrong, every system comes with a 1-Year Limited Warranty covering replacement parts for manufacturing defects. The Forge of Creation systems are built for unit-by-unit expansion. Each tower can house up to 40 plants in the same 2' × 2' spacing often used for a single plant in a traditional greenhouse. A standard 10' × 20' poly tunnel hoop house can house multiple towers. Our grow lights can be chained up to 8 lights in a row to offer the exact lighting you need to maximize your yields during low lighting seasons.

What is the labor cost for crop turnover?

Turnaround time is minimal. The system is engineered for zero root maintenance and easy cleaning for replanting. When a cycle is complete, you simply pull the plants by removing the quick connect buckets, flush the 15-gallon reservoir, and run a standard cleaning solution, such as Citric Acid, through the variable-speed pump and plumbing. You get your hardware back into production without wasting labor hours on soil management or complex cleaning.

Yes. While standard residential towers are tuned for leafy greens and herbs, we engineer for the right size bucket for the crop. Our ebb & flow design allows for optimal watering and dry cycles needed for many root crops. While interchangeable bucket sizes from 6 cups to multiple gallons of media allow for your roots to flourish with no root binding fears.
